The Brother Wireless HL 2170W Printer - A Professional Tool For Small Businesses
Small businesses have to prove themselves against corporations in their respective industry if they expect to succeed. One way to win over clients is to deal with them in a professional manner that rivals bigger companies that may have more experience. The Brother HL 2170W Printer and its counterpart – the Brother HL 2170W laser toner – create high-quality documents that will enhance the look of any home-based office. The size and speed of this printer are also benefits that help home offices run smoothly and efficiently.
Home offices are usually small and cannot afford to waste space on electronics equipment. Choosing a small printer is a great way to maximize a tight space. The compact nature of the Brother HL 2170W printer makes it ideal for sitting on a small shelf or desktop. A roomier environment looks better to customers who may visit the office, and it is more comfortable for people who work in the space. The small size of the printer means it can be put into a convenient spot in the room for easy retrieval documents.
Not only will the HL 2170W will fit in any home office, but it will also fit in any home office’s budget. Brother is a well-known and respected company in the electronics and printer industry. Therefore, even though the printer is inexpensive, the customer knows they are getting a quality product. This low-cost printer is a great way to maximize a company’s bottom line.
Time is money, and another cost-efficient benefit to this printer is the print speed and the impressive paper handling. This piece of equipment is capable of printing 23 pages per minute, so documents are quickly available. The 32MB of memory allows this machine to print even the most complex documents at a fast speed. Small business owners can stop waiting for the printer and start making more deals. The tray holds 250 sheets of paper, which means less time filling the tray and more time conducting business.
This printer has wireless technology, which means that it does not need addition cables. Messy cables and wires from computers, scanners, and fax machines can be visually distracting, so wireless capabilities make a home office appear more orderly. Cutting back on clutter will ultimately enhance productivity. Another benefit of the wireless abilities is the HL 2170W does not require confusing cords for set-up. Simply press a button on the router to configure the settings and printing may begin.
It is important for a small business to appear as professional as bigger corporations in their industry if they want to become successful. Communicating to potential clients or current customers, and ultimately beating the competition, is as important aspect of doing business. The clear, crisp text and graphics produced by this printer and Brother HL toner cartridges can be attributed to the machine’s high resolution and laser output.
Small business owners will be impressed by the power of this printer. They may wonder how such a compact machine can produce high quality documents so quickly. The Brother HL 2170W printer and the corresponding Brother HL 2170W compatible toner are products of a respected brand in the industry that has earned its reputation. For professional results that will enhance any small business, consider this printer and toner as the solution to any home office needs.
wired & wireless connected to the same router?
I have the following extremely irritating problem: I have a network with 5 PC’s, a wireless router, printer and a server. All of the computers are connected to the router wirelessly, the printer and the server connected - via wire and everything is OK with the internet connection on all computers. The problem is the pcs can ping the server but the server can’t, also the server can ping on the printer. It is important, because I want to make the server handle the network and it can’t make now any of its services (useless). All three computers are on the same workgroup, the two with wireless cards see each other and communicate, but neither of the wired PCs and the server can see the wireless connected pcs! However, when I ping of the wired computer is possible, but it cannot be seen in Network Neighborhood.
I think I just about understood that.
What router are you using?
Sounds like there's a problem between the bridging of the wireless AP and the wired hub in the router.
Wilocity: 60GHz wireless revolution begins at CES (Albuquerque Journal)
Wilocity's chip for 802.11ad wireless communications at 60GHz is paired with a
Qualcomm Atheros chip for more conventional 802.11n networking.

If all goes according to Wilocity's plan, the startup's dream of high-speed
wireless networking will take a crucial step toward reality in January.
That's because Wilocity, which is leading the charge for next-generation
technology called 802.11ad designed to reach 7 gigabits per second over short
distances, plans to show off a variety of devices using its technology at the
mammoth CES trade show that month.
"We'll be able to show you what your life would be like on 60GHz," said Mark
Grodzinsky, Wilocity's vice president of marketing. He predicts that the first
devices to use Wilocity's 802.11ad chips will be notebooks, Ultrabooks,
tablets, and docking stations that can connect those devices to peripherals
such as displays.
These devices will be a key moment for the future of 802.11ad. In Wilocity's
dream, the company will excite people about the possibilities of wireless
networking that's faster than what typical computers today can do with a wired
connection. For example, a smartphone carried into the office could connect to
a keyboard, mouse, and large display. A tablet ... [Read ...
