How can I prevent others accessing my internet thru my wireless DSL Linksys WAG354 modem?
Computer is very slow due to this, please help me.
1.) Set the administation password to something other than the default.
2.) Setup WPA security if all of the devices you want to connect to it support WPA, otherwise setup WEP security.
3.) Make sure you have the latest firmware for your WAG354.
4.) Monitor the DHCP clients list in the admin page periodically, to make sure no body has managed to 'sneak past the dogs.'
