Use my iPhone as a WiFi repeater?
Okay, so, I got an iPhone 3G (old, I know) and I want to use it as a WiFi repeater. I do NOT have a data plan, so I cannot make my iPhone into a WiFi hotspot using 3G internet.
Basicly, is it possible to grab WiFi on the iPhone, and then tether it AGAIN to a laptop/whatever else?
If possible, please tell me how, if not, plese tell me why.
The short answer is no.
And if you could, that wouldn't be the same as a wifi repeater.
