Networking (wireless) using a vodafone usb modem as broadband source.?

PLEASE HELP!
I use a vodafone usb modem (hsdpa) as my internet source. I have also installed a netgear wireless router into my desktop. However, when I try to set up a wireless home network I can achieve LOCAL ACCESS only. Despite following the network configuration settings step by step I can't share my broadband connection. Has anyone else come across this problem using this type of modem as a broadband source and managed to overcome it. All help greatly appreciated.

Sorry to have to tell you this but you can't set up your router to use your USB modem, it needs to be connected onto your phone line using ADSL or Cable (depending which service you have in your area). The USB modem can only be used on the machine it is connected to.

If you have any questions don't hesitate to give me a shout.
