Stylish Flash Drive
We store a lot of digital information in this digital age. We also keep more varieties of information now than we did in the past. In the beginning of this digital age, we used to store only small, simple file types like plain text, word processing documents, and spreadsheet documents. However, as digital technology gained ground, we found our pictures migrating from film rolls to our hard disks and other removable media. Our music and video collections have also found their way into our digital storage devices.
There are many occasions when we must carry all these data files around. For instance, you might have a collection of MP3’s in your dorm room computer that you want to bring home with you during the break, so you could listen to them in your home computer. People used to use floppy disks for the purpose of transporting files, but these archaic storage devices won’t cut it anymore. They can only hold up to 1.44MB, depending on the type of floppy. Since most MP3 files are bigger than this, you need to have a more capable high-capacity removable drive or media.
One of these portable storage devices is the USB flash drive. USB gadgets like Flash drives, jump drives or thumb drives whatever you call them are small and light with a large capacity. A USB flash drive doesn't require a separate drive or reader, unlike other high-capacity media devices. Simply plug the whole drive into an available USB port and go. Given that most computers these days have at least a couple of ports, you can use a USB flash drive in almost any computer.
Another cool thing about USB flash drives is that there are plenty of designs to choose from. You can find USB flash drives that double as key chains, flashlights, pendants, and other cool stuff. For the fashionistas, there is the 1GB leather USB flash drive bracelet. It is a very stylish bracelet that can be worn anywhere and can hold 1GB of data. That’s equivalent to more than 150 MP3 songs. Now, who said geeks couldn’t be fashionable?

Corsair Flash Voyager GT 3.0 Flash Drive Reviewed. Verdict: Ho-hum (Ohgizmo)
Corsair's Flash Voyager GT line used to be the bee's knees of ultra performant
flash drives. Their SLC based 8GB Voyager GT from 5 years ago sat at the top
