what do u mean by bottleneck? if the modem disconnects will the router still keep me online?
also could anyone tell me the difference between a router and a network adapter because i have been looking at bestbuy website and see a network adapter for 40$ with 150 Mb/s
and a router for $80 with 54 Mb/s
If the modem is always disconnecting you'll still have the same problem.
Anyways it doesn't really matter unless you're gaming within your own network because the internet is the bottleneck.
