i have reformatted my acer 4315 with vista ultimate black and downloaded the new drivers from the acer site, there is one problem its not seeing my wireless network i have reinstalled all the correct lan drivers and it is still not finding any networks. i think that the lan is not switched on or activated can anyone help. i need simple instruction i'm not very good with IT
i have pushed the buttons and it said WLAN enabled but its as if its switch off. and i have the latest WLAN driver any other ideas?
You might try to download the latest drivers for your WLAN, not LAN. Also, there should be a switch on the side of your laptop that has an antenna by it (or something like that). Make sure it is on. Also, on the keyboard on your laptop, push the Fn key + the key that has an antenna on it to activate/deactivate the WLAN. Good luck.
