computer routers question?
Im updating my internet higher and i currently have a G+ minmo router and same but a usb plug for my desktop wireless internet connector. can i upgrade to a N+ ultra desktop usb connector and get the higher level of speed or will it only pick up as much as the G+ put out?
I do gaming and want to be able to watch video clips online.
current speed is Up to 256 Kbps down/128 Kbps up
im going to upgrade to, 6 Mbps down/1 Mbps up
You are limited to your router speed. With G+ you should be able to watch video on line because you already exceed the highest internet download speeds available from ISP's.

Open House Highlights TECHB@R, Reference Services on Regenstein’s Renovated 1st Floor (University of Chicago)
Students, faculty and staff are invited to celebrate the renovated Regenstein
Library 1st Floor at an open house from 1 to 3 p.m. on Monday, November 7. The
event kicks off the week-long Grand Opening of the 1st Floor.
The open house will be held in the IT Services and Reference Services meeting
space behind the new TECHB@R on the first floor of Regenstein Library. Cake
and other refreshments will be served in the internal consultation area. At
1:15 p.m., Judith Nadler, Director and University Librarian, and Clara
Jelinkova, Associate Vice President & Chief Information Technology Officer, IT
Services, will explain the goals of the renovated space. Library users will be
invited to speak to a variety of librarians and IT Services staffers about 1st
floor service offerings.
Throughout the Grand Opening week of November 7-11, students, faculty and
staff visiting the TECHB@R will be invited to enter a raffle to win one of
five gift bags.
Hours of the TECHB@R and Reference desk will be Monday – Thursday, 9 am - 8
p.m.; Friday, 10 a.m. -5 p.m.; and Saturday and Sunday, 12 noon – 5 p.m.
